Chamber of Shipping (İmeak Deniz Ticaret Odası)
Istanbul and Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Black Sea Regions Chamber of Shipping, also known as the Chamber of Shipping for short, is an important professional organization of the Turkish maritime trade sector and is headquartered in Istanbul.

Eastern Mediterranean Regional Directorate
Eastern Mediterranean Customs and Trade Regional Directorate was established in İskenderun on 23.07.1939 as the 3rd Chief Directorate after Istanbul and Izmir Customs Chief Directorates with the annexation of Hatay to the motherland.

Our institution, which served as the Ministry of Trade from the first years of the establishment of our Republic until 1971, as the Chief Directorate of Mersin Customs between 1971 and 2003, and as the Chief Directorate of Customs and Customs Enforcement from 2003 until December 2011, has been organized as a Regional Directorate since December 2011 with the Council of Ministers Decree No. 2011/2474.
